Bonnie Selby, age 87 of Lima, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Bonnie was born May 9, 1935 in Lima, to Ferris and Florine (Copley) Colley who preceded her in death. On December 27, 1952 she married George Selby who preceded her in death on December 27, 2009.

Surviving are their daughter, Georgia Barrows of Lima; grandchildren: Gina (fiance’ Dominien Kenner) Barrows and Michael Barrows, Jr. both of Lima; a brother, Larry Colley of Delphos, 13 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by the following siblings: Lola Johnson, Carol Nelson, Sharon Johnson, Rita Parker, Bill Colley, Michael Colley, Jean Prater, Rose Chilbin, Ray Colley, Dale Colley and Ralph Colley.

She had been employed at Superior Metals, Libby’s and Lima Register. She was a former member of F.O.E. Aerie #370 Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She enjoyed going to dinner at the Golden Corral with her brother, Larry.

Graveside services will begin at 3:00 p.m., in Memorial Park Cemetery committal chapel on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 . Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
