Blair Grant Kaufman, age 88, was called into his Heavenly Home at 12:55 a.m. on December 19, 2022, at the Primrose Retirement Community of Lima

Blair was born May 25, 1934, in Johnstown, PA, to Henry L. and Marian E. (Jacobs) Kaufman who preceded him in death.

Blair was a 1953 graduate of Orville High School and attended Ohio Northern University. He retired after several years of service from the Lima Landmark Elevator Company, where he was a Lab Technician. Blair was a talented painter, loved music and especially enjoyed attending the Lima Symphony Orchestra. Blair loved the Lord and was a long-time member of Unity Church and was currently a member of South Side Christian Church.

He is survived by two sisters, Bernice Mae Lehman of Davidsville, PA and Linda Eileen (Dwight) Gindlesperger of Johnstown, PA; several nieces, nephews, and close friends, Barb (Rick) Robinson of Lima.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his best friend and business partner, Larry Eugene Smith; brother-in-law, Boyd Lehman; grand-niece, Angela Cotchen and grand-nephew, Jason Jones.

Services celebrating Blair’s life will be held at a later date in the spring.
