Beverly Ann Hasson
1946 -2021
Beverly Ann Hasson passed away on the morning of November 20th at the Lima Convalescent Home, where she had been a resident since last spring.
Preceded in death by her parents, Bernard C. Hasson and Helen M. Hasson (Falk).
She is survived by her sister, Connie Hasson of Lima, Ohio.
Beverly graduated from LCC in 1964, the first class to graduate after 4 years at LCC. She was an active member of St. Rose parish with her faith being paramount in her life. She was well known for her humor and being “everyone’s best friend”. Known to others as Beverly, Bev, Schmev and Cuz, her magnetic presence drew everyone into her circle.
Bev worked many years at the former Azzarello’s Restaurant and was then employed for 32 years in the Medical Records Dept. at Lima Memorial Hospital. Beverly was devoted to her parents, sister, family, friends and many pets. She was an avid fan for LCC, Browns, Indians and Notre Dame, in addition to enjoying golf, reading and sharing drinks with friends and loved ones. Her sister, cousins, friends and co-workers will miss her spirit and generosity.
A Mass of Christian Burial and life celebration will take place at St. Rose Catholic Church on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10:30am. Inurnment will take place in Gethsemani Cemetery following the service.
