Beulah “Boots” Brenneman Redmond went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, in the early morning hours of November 24, 2021.
Beulah was born November, 3,1926 to Alvin and Nancy Mable (Kauffman) Brenneman of Elida, Ohio. On July 10, 1948 she married John Redmond who preceded her in death on September 21, 2005. Boots is survived by her children, James “Jim” (Faye) Redmond, Marilyn (Wayne) Brentlinger Trippe, Janet (Paul) Clevenger. She has eleven surviving grandchildren: Nathan (Rachael) Redmond, Christa (Joe) Patton, Rebecca (Mark) Phillips, Adam (Cathy) Redmond, Beth (Nate) Johnson, Paul Brentlinger, Jenny (Brian) Carter, Mark (Lindsay) Brentlinger, Marie (Ben) Brite, David (Kimberly) Clevenger, Daniel (Sheena) Clevenger. Boots has thirty three great grandchildren.
Boots was preceded in death by her husband of fifty seven years, John Redmond; her sister Doris Evelyn Fisher who passed away one year ago this Christmas.
Boots was a long-time member of Lima Baptist Temple teaching Sunday School gave her great joy as she had a heart for Christ and wanted to share him with others. She and her husband John loved their Buckeye Furniture business, and enjoyed serving the community in this way. Her grandchildren have many fond memories of enjoying the wonderful food she would make and the time spent with her in her home. Raised on a farm, she took great joy in caring for her goats, chickens, and other farm animals. She was always generous and ready to give to others in any way she could.
Funeral Services will be on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 12:00pm at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL HOMES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL, 828 Bellefontaine Avenue, Lima, Ohio 45801. Rev. Jerry Burton to officiate the service. Burial will be in Salem Mennonite Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
