Betsy J. Doyle, 53, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on July 31, 2018, at 3:32AM, at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Betsy was born June 18, 1965 in Lima, OH, to William Kilgore (d) and Barbara Cady (Joseph) (d) Binkley who survives in Lima, Ohio.
Betsy graduated from Bath High School and Apollo Career Center in 1983. She was an administrative assistant at Lima City Schools for over 20 years. She also worked at Shawnee High School in the food department and at Subway on West Street in Lima for 18 1/2 years. Betsy adored her children, and cherished her grandsons. Betsy never knew a stranger and always looked for the good in everyone. She was the biggest fan of Jim Belushi, she swore that she would marry him one day. She also was a fan of Roseanne, Reba McEntire and Tim Allen. She also loved her dogs, Zoey and Bubby.
Betsy is survived by her, mother, Barbara (Joseph) (d) Binkley of Lima, OH, children, Cody (Samantha Steinke) Kilgore of Saint Marys, OH, and James(Jessica) Doyle of Lima, OH, step-daughter, Charlotte Howbert of Lima, OH, grandchildren, Caysen Kilgore, and Cooper Doyle, siblings, Cathy (Vince) Warren of Lima, OH, and Bill (Debbie) Kilgore of Medina, OH, nephews, Andy (Ellen) Kilgore of Lexington, KY, Tyler Kilgore of Tallmedge, OH, Adam (Ashley) Kilgore of Tallmedge, OH, niece, Christina (Ryan) Brees of Orient, OH, and great-nephew, Lucas Kilgore.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Binkley and Steven L. Doyle.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00AM at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL HOME, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Rev Terry Brock to officiate the service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lima City Schools Athletics.
