Barbara Jo Lyons-Taylor, age 59, passed away March 30, 2021, at 11:08 pm, at her residence surrounded by her family. Barb was born February 9, 1962, in Lima, OH, to Frank and Dorothy (Overmyer) Lyons who preceded her in death.
Barb was a graduate of Lima Senior High School. She had worked as a cashier clerk for Ray’s Supermarkets for 15 years. Most recently she had been working in janitorial services with various hotels in the Lima area and also for private individuals. Barb enjoyed being outside and going shopping and catching a lunch with her sons.
Barb is survived by her 2 sons: Cory (Michelle) Taylor and Travis (Lindsey) Taylor both of Lima, OH, 5 Grandchildren, her siblings: Ron Lyons of Lima, OH, Tom Lyons of Lima, OH, Franny (Steve) Whetstone of Spencerville, OH, Carole Martin of Cridersville, OH, Kate (Bill) Watkins of McGuffey, OH and Chris (Bruce) Billings of Westminster, OH. She is also survived by her fiance, Frank Krontz of Lima, OH. Barb is preceded in death by her son, Shane Taylor, a brother, Mike Lyons and a sister, Cindy Lyons.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Burial of cremated remains will be in Woodlawn Cemetery also at a later date.
