Ashley “Amber” Nicole Taylor, 35 of Lima, passed away January 9, 2021, at Lima Memorial Health System, surrounded by her loving family.

Amber was born October 16, 1985 in Ocilla, GA, to Charles “Chuck” and Terri (Bell) Kagy, who survive her. On July 14, 2003, she married Paul Taylor, Jr., who survives her in Lima.

Amber attended Faith Christian Academy and was a wonderful mother and wife. She enjoyed cooking big family meals and spending time with her family; they were her everything. Amber will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her children, Alex Taylor, Makayla Taylor, Kiley Taylor and Brady Taylor; sister, Jasmine Hernadez; father-in-law, Paul (Shelly) Taylor, Sr.; mother-in-law, Kimberly (Sonny) Adams; sisters-in-law, Sarah (Rusty) Armentrout and Brittany Armentrout; aunts, Tammy (Phillip) Speck, Kay Mays and Paula Webb; uncles, Michael Bell, Travis (Angie) White, Kevin Bradford and David Bell; cousin, Sierra (Caleb) Brooks; 7 nephews, 2 nieces, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Amber is preceded in death by her son, Matthew Taylor, maternal grandparents, Lloyd Bell and Barbara White.

Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, January 15, 2021 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL with Pastor Chad Roberts to officiate the service.

Visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2021, from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
