Armando “Angelo” E. Cilli, age 80, passed away January 3, 2022, at 4:23 pm, at Lima Memorial Health System surrounded by his family. Angelo was born January 10, 1941, in Picciano, Italy to Antonio and Teresa (Berardinucci) Cilli who preceded him in death. On April 3, 1993, he married Paula A. (Wallace) Cilli who survives in Lima.
Angelo was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had worked as a self-employed Electrician, Plummer and H-VAC technician under the company name “Mr. Comfort, Inc.”. He was a hard worker and thought about doing nothing else but providing for his family. He touched so many with his honesty, loyalty, work ethics and his sense of humor. He will be truly missed.
In addition to his wife, Angelo is survived by his children: Teresa “Anna” (Tony) Rocca of Lima, OH, Lisa (Daniel) Angelozzi of Marlton, NJ, Gina Gatta of Westchester, PA and Loretta Cilli of Philadelphia, PA and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deanna Cilli and a sister, Filomena Cilli.
There will be a funeral service and a time of sharing held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:00 am at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Following services entombment will take place in the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum where military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army and the VFW#1275.
