Heritage Rooms

The Heritage Rooms at Shawnee Chapel are planned with your family in mind. There is no charge to use a room during your visitation or after your funeral ceremony or memorial service. Each room is equipped with tables & chairs to seat approximately 50 people.

The following amenities are included:

• Full sized refrigerator
• Microwave oven
• Full coffee service (regular, decaf, cups, and coffee condiments)
• Space for food to be set buffet style with plenty of electrical outlets for crock-pots, etc.
• Large flat screen television with cable
• Access to additional, handicap accessible bathrooms

Direct access to outdoors for easy set-up and clean-up; also smoking area

Both Heritage Rooms are furnished comfortably and serve as a great place to rest, relax and enjoy fellowship with family and friends. All you need to provide is the food and appropriate utensils (for serving, plates, forks, spoons etc.)

Some families simply bring snacks for during visitation or have a meal catered for the funeral luncheon. The staff at Chiles-Laman would be happy to give you a tour of the rooms or assist you in selecting a caterer.
