Doris Jean Reichelderfer Wireman, 74, died at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 13, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 28, 1938, in Allen County to John Frank and Pearl Lucille Huff Reichelderfer, who preceded her in death. On April 29, 1961, she married Lester Wireman, who died Oct. 26, 1996.
Mrs. Wireman was a member of Lima Freewill Baptist Church, Cridersville Independence Baptist Church and Crossroads Church of God. She enjoyed cooking and shopping, as well as spending time with family and friends. She was known for her Christmas candy and cakes.
Survivors include a son, Bryan (fiancee Mary Ann Welch) Wireman, of Lima; a daughter, Kimberly Jean Browning, of Mansfield; seven grandchildren, Beau, Jordan, Leighton, Addison, Cheyenne, Savanna and Isaiah; and a stepbrother, Floyd Shuffield, of San Diego.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Halise Reichelderfer; a son, Bernard J. Wireman; a brother, James; and a sister, Betty Zickafoose.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel. The Rev. Ed Wireman and the Rev. Richard McKeever will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
