Elden Lee Pryor, 57 of Lima, passed away June 30, 2018, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
Elden was born January 6, 1961 in Kittery, Maine to Coy Pryor and Rosa (Cole) Wood and step father, Roger L. Wood, who preceded him in death. On January 1, 1996, he married Susan “Sue” (Cook) Pryor who survives him in Lima.
Elden worked as a warehouse associate for Spartan Nash for 20 years. He was an avid bowler who was in multiple leagues at Twentieth Century Lanes; Elden bowled a perfect game in 2008. He loved traveling, visiting family and spending time with his daughters and grandson. Elden always wanted to travel to Maine to the place where he was born and he was able to do so a few weeks ago.
In addition to his wife, Elden is survived by his daughters, Stephanie M. Pryor and Nicole R. Pryor, both of Lima; grandson, Joshua “JJ” King of Lima; sisters, Wanda L. Pryor of Brooksville, FL, Leshea A. Porter of Lutz, FL, Robin L. (Mark) Wilkins of Hagerstown, IN and Cathern R. (Mike) Albert of Brooksville, FL; brother, Kermit L. (Amber) Wood of McKinney, TX; brothers-in-law, Wesley (Katherine) Cook of Lima and Darin (Virginia) Cook of Spencerville; sister-in-law, Cecilia (Michael) Bump of Lima; brothers-in-law, Ned Cook of Lima and Charles (Penny) Cook of Lima; uncle, Ernest (Dollie) Smith; aunt, Janet Gilbert; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and his Labrador, Lucky.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 4:00 PM at his home.
