Donald A “Donnie” Stauffer, age 60, was called home to the Lord at 6:43 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2018, at his home.
Donnie was born May 15, 1958 in Lima, to Donald and Yovonne “Sue” (Fetter) Stauffer. His dad preceded him in death and his mom survives in Cridersville. On October 14, 1995 he married Deborah L. (Flory) Stauffer who survives in Lima.
Donnie worked as a truck driver for Dancer Logistics in Delphos, Ohio. He enjoyed fishing, working with computers and he had a passion for Harley Davidson’s. Donnie loved the Lord and was a member of The Church at Allentown. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his beloved Tinkerbell.
Survivors include, Mother, Yovonne “Sue” Stauffer of Cridersville; wife, Deborah L. Stauffer of Lima; six children, Joey Stauffer, Dain A. (Jessica) Stauffer of Columbus Grove, Crystal L. (Aaron Overholt) Stauffer of Palm Coast, FL, Kristopher M. (Donna) Kuhn of Lima, Laurie A. (Chris) Music of Lima and Courtney D. (Theo) Law of Wapakoneta; fourteen grandchildren, Jayden Stauffer, Brianna Wolfert, Ethan Stauffer, Makaiyla Overholt, Baleigh Music, Kaylee Stauffer, Kollin Overholt, Hannah Stauffer, Madalynn Law, Carson Music, Aleah Stauffer, Sophia Stauffer, Jaxson Law, and Callie Music; five brothers, Timothy Stauffer of Wapakoneta, Brian (Rona) Stauffer of Wapakoneta, Todd (Regina) Stauffer of Lima, Randy (Shelly) Stauffer of Spencerville, Eric (Jenny) Stauffer of Elida, sister-in-law, Pamela Flory of Lima, two brothers-in-law, David Flory of Lima and Michael Watkins of Lima; Father-in-law, Leonard Watkins of Lima and his beloved, Tinkerbell.
In addition to his dad he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Roger A. Flory; mother-in-law, Anna Watkins and brother-in-law, Roger C. Flory.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018, at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Pastor Neal Whitney will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 10, at the funeral home.
